Volunteer Your Time
Latinx Therapist Unidos nunca seremos vencidos! This is ont of the simplest ways to help out our cause. We believe the best way for our initiatives to be successful is for the community to actively get involved. We are looking for volunteers to:
Help create our database of fully funded programs
Give talks on therapy field targeting latinx high schoolers, college students and professionals.
Interested in helping identify grants, funding oppurtunities

Latinx Therapist Project CO is seeking new members for its Board of Directors. The LTP Board of Directors serve a crucial role in providing oversight, guidance, and support to advance the organization’s mission and objectives. This role involves active participation in board meetings, committee work, and other activities to ensure the organization’s effectiveness, sustainability, and impact. LTP CO is a fiscally sponsored project under Colorado Nonprofit Development Center (CNDC), meaning CNDC carries all financial and legal fiduciary responsibility and liability however our board of directors continues to provide organizational oversight of LTP CO in assuring LTP CO is carrying out its mission.

Latinx Therapist Project CO is a nonprofit dedicated to increasing the Spanish Speaking mental health care providers serving the Latinx Spanish speaking community and empowering our next generation of Latinx Therapists through variety of initiatives in Colorado and Dentro metropolitan areas. We were founded in 2019 by Latinx therapists seeking to make change in our communities due to the impact of the mental health disparity among the Latinx Spanish Speaking community.
We are currently in an exciting time as we continue to grow and expand thanks to generous contributions from Caring for Denver Foundation and Colorado Health Foundation in efforts to build infrastructure to increase Latinx workforce entering the mental health care field throughout Denver metropolitan areas and eventually statewide.

Become an Event Panelist
LTP CO focuses on 5 strategic initiatives in efforts to increase Latinx individuals entering into mental health field in Colorado:
- Recruiting of Latinx individuals into therapy field;
- Creating an educational database resource of all current college education opportunities in mental health field while also advocating for increase of funding at mental health graduate programs;
- Providing educational opportunities for prospective therapists to decide on mental healthcare specialty;
- Creating a Denver Latinx therapist employment database to connect Latinx serving agencies with Latinx therapists;
- Mentorship Program for Latinx individuals interested in mental health field.
Partner With Us
Our headquarters is now located in Denver, Colorado, where our founder now resides, and we plan to continue doing the important work of increasing mental health care providers serving the Latinx Spanish community. In 2023, LTP partnered with the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center (CNDC) to become a project under their nonprofit so LTP could focus on our mission and outcomes.
Become a Board member
The role of a General Board Member typically involves a commitment of 2-3 hours per month, including attendance at Board meetings, committee meetings, and additional time for reading materials, preparing for meetings, and participating in relevant activities and events. The exact time required may vary depending on the organization’s needs, priorities, and schedule of activities.
